Flickr loves you: how to see the world through a lense.

Just the other day I was surfing on the Internet when one of my best friends gave me a website address of a flickr, a place where photographers from all around the world upload their pictures to receive critics or comments from other collegues.

My favourite flickr at the moment is from England. Leenah is a 15 year old girl who has lived in the country for ever and that she has always hated. It wasn’t until2005 that she became a photographer and decided to take advantage of the natural environment where she grew up in.

Her amazing photos are born from an incredibly creative mind. She often bases her work on films, girly and abstract films such as Sofia Coppola’s “Suicide Virgins” or Michel Gondry’s “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind“, or even books like Alice in Wonderland. These are not a silly little girl’s pictures. This young artist owns a very personal style that defines her as a simple, sweet and a little vintage visionary. She uses her friends, Rachel (her sister) and even herself as models to pose for her camera.

Leenah has the power to create a whole new vision of the world only by using her Nikon camera and some photoshop to give light or brightness, to make people hung as courtains or from the hall-stand, or to add elements (like fishes in a field) to her photos.

At her oyung age, the important English fashion magazine “Dazed & Confused” has chosen her to work in the creative team, almost an unreachable job for young girls.

Just like my best friend did, I recommend you her freshness and talent, I suggest that you take a look at her job, in her website www.flickr.com/lenaah
